Kitchen Profile
We are a 48 Bedroom luxury 4 star hotel in Connemara, west of Ireland. Two dining outlets with The Fisherman's Pub and a fine dining restaurant The Owenmore. We are a part of the prestigious Relais and Chateaux group of hotels in the UK and Ireland.
We have a walled kitchen garden which provides our kitchen with seasonal, organically grown vegetables. We also are a Gold member of Origin Green and have signed up to a sustainability programme, this is a big part of our ethos in the hotel and especially the kitchen.
As a guest in our kitchen you will begin your day with a tour of the hotel and the estate to include the walled garden. You will work as a part of the kitchen team from around lunchtime and can assist with some simple food prep while you experience the turnaround from mis en place time to setting up for a dinner service. You will be welcome to stay for as much of the dinner service as you wish.
